From one mountain range to another.

In this route, we will trace our path from the Sierra Calderona Natural Park, one of the most important natural lungs near the city of Valencia, to the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park, the second-largest protected area in the Valencian Community. Departure from the route

Departure from the route, seeking the West exit of the city through the CV-35, will take you to Llíria via a simple highway that will facilitate the riders’ first contact with the motorcycle.

Upon reaching Llíria, we will take the detour towards Alcublas, where the newly asphalted road winds through various cultivated fields, leading to the first ascent of the mountain pass that will take us to one of the towns most associated with the motorcycling world in Valencia.

At the exit of Alcublas, we will stop at the famous plane, a historical witness of the former Alcublas Aerodrome that was operational during the Spanish Civil War. After the photo, we will continue the route towards Segorbe, taking roads that lead us into the western part of the Sierra Calderona Natural Park. The arrival at Cueva Santa and the descent to Segorbe are among the most enjoyable stretches in terms of motorcycle riding, as you will delight in taking curves of all kinds surrounded by the park’s natural scenery.

After regrouping at the roundabout at the entrance to Altura, we will continue crossing the city of Segorbe until we reach the detour towards Castellnovo via the CV-200. This more open road will gradually lead us into the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park until we reach Ahín, where, immersed in nature, we will arrive at our first destination: Eslida.

The Bar Paquita in Eslida is undoubtedly one of the most beloved and valued classics by both motorcyclists and cyclists from Valencia and its surroundings. The good work of Mrs. Paquita, who combines her natural friendliness with a variety of breakfasts that have delighted generations (the bar was inaugurated in 1975), is joined by the incredible and equally famous “Cremaet,” whose recipe was developed by her husband Rafael—a simply heavenly closure to what will surely be a sandwich to remember and a more than pleasant time surrounded by a unique atmosphere. Currently, their children Rafa and Vicent run the bar with the same philosophy of service and friendliness, with whom we will take a photo for the memory.

Departure from Eslida

Departure from Eslida towards Artana on the CV-223 until reaching the CV-10, which will lead us directly to the A-7 highway. Following the highway around the city of Valencia, always with the sea to our left, we will reach the Sollana exit. Bordering the town, we will venture into secondary roads in the heart of the fantastic fields where the majority of the famous Valencia Rice is cultivated. These paths will take us to El Palmar.

Lunch

Lunch at one of the most renowned rice restaurants in El Palmar, “Casa Maribel,” recommended by both the “Michelin Guide” and the “Repsol Guide” for its quality in service and cuisine. Acclaimed by the locals, it is considered one of the best restaurants to savor the globally famous “Paella Valencia” accompanied by its equally famous Sangria.

Back to Valencia

After delighting our palate with the delights of the most typical Valencian cuisine, we will take the CV-500 back to Valencia and make a final stop at the La Albufera Natural Park. Here, we will contemplate this marvel of nature and take photos of the sunset.
